A Public hearing was held on this date at 7:30 p.m.to discuss Local Law 189.54 and Garage Sale permits with the following members present: Mayor, William Sreca, Trustees, Gerald Seymour, Charlene Gregory, Travis Yoxall, and Thomas Malecki
Public Hearing: no public comment
A regular Village Board meeting followed the Public Hearing.

Motion was made by Gerald Seymour to accept June minutes. 4 ayes 0 nays
Charlie Waltz from the DOT to advise the public of an up coming bridge project on State Route 5 over Sconondoa Creek.
Jeff Rowe updated us on the progress on the Water Project.
Motion was made by Gerald Seymour to adopt the Resolution for Quiet Meadows subdivision water supply. 4 ayes 0 nays
Motion was made by Thomas Malecki to approve 2009-2010 Water Budget Expenditures increase from $464,711.66 to $504,802.79 an increase of $40,091.13. 4 ayes 0 nays
Motion was made by Travis Yoxall to approve Local Law 189.54 to be renamed to unsafe motor vehicle operation. 4 ayes 0 nays
Motion was made by Charlene Gregory to approve the following changes. 4 ayes 0 nays
- local law 113-3 Advertising signs
An advertising sign no greater in size than two feet by two feet may be installed on the premises on which the garage sale will be conducted, or may be placed on private property or right of way with permission of property owner. Such sign can be placed 1/2 hour before sale begins and must be removed 1/2 hour after sales ends each day. As long as sign does not obstruct vehicle or pedestrian traffic.
No sign or other display advertising the sale shall be placed on any public place and no illuminated or lighted sign may be used to advertise a garage sale
- local law 113-6 Additional requirements
The licensee for a garage sale shall be responsible for the maintenance of good order and decorum on the premises during the hours of the garage sale and shall not permit the parking of motor vehicles on or about the public streets that would impede the flow of vehicular traffic and shall not obstruct or impede pedestrian traffic on the sidewalks of the Village
- local law 113-9 Display of license or permit
The license or permit is required to be exhibited by affixing to the cart, table or shelf from which merchandise is vended or sold so that same is visible to the public. Where impractical to affix said license or permit, it must be carried by the licensee, who shall be required to exhibit it at the request of any citizen.
