A Public hearing to discuss Transfer money from reserves for new police car and playground equipment was held on the date at 7:30 p.m. with the following members present: Mayor, Gerald Seymour , Trustees Todd Marris, Frank Emmerich, Travis Yoxall and Charlene Gregory.

 

Public Comment: no comment

 

The regular Village Board meeting followed with the same members present.

 

Public Comment: no comment

 

Motion was made by Frank Emmerich to accept August 19 and August 27 minutes with the following change: August 27, 2013 should read A special meeting  4 ayes 0 nays

 

Motion was made by Charlene Gregory to approve transferring $33,000 from vehicle reserve and $11,425.00 from playground equipment reserves. 4 ayes 0 nays

 

Motion was made by Travis Yoxall to approve changes to the following codes:

144-1 - B. Parking (1) no vehicles shall be parked overnight on all village owned property.

             E. Animal control (1) Animals shall be permitted on the park roadways, trails and non -                                playground grassy areas only. Animals are not permitted in any ball fields or in picnic areas.               Animal will be leashed and under the control of by the individual in charge of the animal. No             animals can be left unattended by the individual in charge of the animal. The individual in charge must remove all waste created by said animal.

64-3 - Exceptions - eliminate

146-4 - Open fires within Village - Permitted open flames are those a) contained in a manner where             fire, flames, embers or debris are not able to penetrate or escape; b) not likely to cause             damage to property or persons; c) made and attended in accordance with applicable             Oneida County, State or Federal law or regulation; d) a minimum of twenty five (25) feet       from any building, structure, improvement, or vehicle; e) not located on municipal             property, including but not limited to, sidewalks, alleys, streets, park or woods/trails; and       f) not likely to disrupt the reasonable peace of another resident.  In any case, the flame,             fire or source must be extinguished immediately upon the direction of a Police Officer. 

 

Motion was made by Frank Emmerich to approve Ballard Sports to repair ball fields in the amount of $61,040.00. Todd Marris aye, Travis Yoxall nay, Frank Emmerich aye, Charlene Gregory nay, and Gerald Seymour aye.

 

Motion was made by Charlene Gregory to approve Clerks, DPW, Water/Sewer and Police Reports.

Motion was made by Frank Emmerich to pay the bills. 4 ayes 0 nays

 

Motion was made by Todd Marris to adjourn. 4 ayes 0 nays

 

 

October 3, 2013

 

A special Village Board meeting was held on this date at 7:30 p.m.with the following members present:

Mayor, Gerald Seymour , Trustees Todd Marris, Frank Emmerich and Travis Yoxall. absent Charlene Gregory.

 

Motion was made by Frank Emmerich to accept bid from Hanson of $48,600 4 ayes 0 nays (Charlene Gregory called in a aye vote)

 

Motion was made by Todd Marris to adjourn. 4 ayes 0 nays
