A regular Village Board meeting was held on this date at 7:30 p.m.with the following members present:  Mayor, Gerald Seymour , Trustees Frank Emmerich, Todd Marris and Charlene Gregory absent Travis Yoxall.

Public Comment:  Abe Acee addressed the board to be allowed to put signs up though the Village to advertise a concert being held at Nothing Fancy August 2nd.

Motion was made by Charlene Gregory to accept April minutes with the following changes. 3 ayes 0 nays

Mike Parker emailed an update on Drainage and Roadway Improvements on School, Curtis, and Judson Streets and Utility and Roadway Improvements for Black Tract, Curtis, Van Epps and Verona Streets.

Motion was made by Frank Emmerich to approve to pay up to  $250.00 for an appraisal of National Grid property on Van Epps. 3 ayes 0 nays

Motion was made by Frank Emmerich to approve Amendment No. 2 for Engineering Services to increase from 20 hrs a week to 32 hours a week in the amount not to exceed $20,000. 3 ayes 0 nays

Motion was made by Todd Marris to approve next highest bid of $25,000 from Wentworth for old water tank land on Judson Rd. 3 ayes 0 nays

Motion was made by Charlene Gregory to approve putting old Village pickup truck out to bid. Bid to close on August 20th at 11:00 am and to be awarded at the Village Board meeting August 20th at 7:30. 3ayes 0 nays    

Motion was made by Frank Emmerich to approve Dylan Trost as park assistant and Tanna Pascarella as park assistant sub. 3 ayes 0 nays

Motion was made by Todd Marris to approve moving $5,758.00 from account A5110.41 to Sidewalks account A5410.4 to pay for new sidewalks on Peterboro Street. 3 ayes 0 nays

Motion was made by Charlene Gregory to allow Abe Acee to place up to 10 signs though the Village on July 26th - August 3rd  to advertise a concert to be held on August 2nd. As long as they meet Village code size rules and if for any reason signs don't meet state rules the Village would default on permit. 3 ayes 0 nays

Motion was made by Frank Emmerich to approve, DPW, Water/Sewer and Police Reports.

Motion was made by Frank Emmerich to go into executive session for personnel reasons. 3 ayes 0 nays

Motion was made by Todd Marris to come out of executive session. 3 ayes 0 nays

Motion was made by Charlene Gregory to approve Christopher Green to receive Dental Insurance with the Village of Vernon starting August 1, 2012 or January 1, 2013 pending approval of PBA contract. 3ayes 0 nays
