A regular Village Board meeting was held on this date at 7:30 p.m.with the following members present:  Mayor, Gerald Seymour , Trustees Todd Marris, and Frank Emmerich and Charlene Gregory absent Travis Yoxall and Charlene Gregory.

Public Comment:  Jay Finch would like to see Dog rules in Spring news letter.

Motion was made by Frank Emmerich to accept February minutes. 3 ayes 0 nays

Motion was made by Todd Marris to create a position for Greg Sanborne to be a competitive class part time police officer. 3 ayes 0 nays                  

Motion was made by Todd Marris to approve Tentative Budget for General, Water and Sewer.

Motion was made by Frank Emmerich to approve Ambit Energy to supply electric and gas for the Village of Vernon National Grid Accounts. 3 ayes 0 nays

Motion was made by Todd Marris to approve to hire Henry Badgley after retirement Full time as of June 1, 2013 at a salary of $30,000.00 yearly and to provide Health coverage at a rate of 10% paid by Henry and 90% paid by the Village and Dental coverage at a rate of 50% paid by Henry and 50% paid by the Village. 3 ayes 0 nays

Motion was made by Frank Emmerich to adjust Vernon Downs sewer billing in the amount of $33,830.20 for the month of February 2013 do to a malfunction of meter. 3 ayes 0 nays

Motion was made by Frank Emmerich to have a Public Hearing on April 8, 2013 at 7:30 pm to make changes to Tentative Budget. 3 ayes 0 nays

Motion was made by Todd Marris to approve Clerks, DPW, Water/Sewer and Police Reports.
